I began my career in 2011,

when my brother, Albert Teran, and I launched our first venture in the food industry with two food trucks - Bongo Brothers & Miami Food Machine.

In 2013, I created a concept for a stationary restaurant, The Wheelhouse, in the up-and-coming neighborhood of Bushwick. When the lease next-door opened up in 2016, I brought the space to life with the antique shop, Alberto & Sons. Then in 2017, we went on to open Millie's Cuban Cafe followed by Amituofu in 2018, Short Stories in 2019, and now our newest project Farewell Dance Bar.

Known for my designs featured in Vogue and The New York Times to name a few, I’m well versed in all aspects of the Hospitality Business from Concept Creation, Design, & Build Out to Operations & Marketing.
